The holy command of Shri Guru has been that we shall serve Godhead in association with one another. By the word ‘we’ he did not mean any one individual. There are many persons who are very selfish, indeed. They say, ‘I alone shall serve. It is incumbent on me alone. No one else has any claim to join me in my service of Godhead.’
We are pleased to announce that the helm of the Belfast temple has recently passed to the hands of Gauranga das. Our previous temple-president Japa-yajna has moved with his family to England and Gauranga has kindly agreed to take his place, for the next year at least.

24 hours after 200 riot police appeared at the their farm community, the devotees are sifting through the ruins of their homes trying to salvage clothes and belongings. The Omon riot police threw the personal belongings of the Hindus into the mud and snow, while loading the furniture on the back of trucks.
Among 1,174 highly functioning men and women in their 70s, those who went to a church, synagogue or mosque at least once a week had a significantly slower decline in their lung function over the following years than their peers who didn’t go to services regularly, Dr. Joanna Maselko, now at Temple University in Philadelphia, and her colleagues report.
