Here is my first person account of the final meeting between Srila Prabhupada and his Godbrother Srila BR Sridhar Swami. This is from my diary. It has not been edited and is not yet in print

I study much about it and how people can and should get involved in God’s work, but many times I do not do enough on my own. So, I got up, drive in to downtown Denver, about 1/2 hour away, and showed up at the temple for the International Society of Krishna Consciousness, aka Hare Krishnas.

Hladini Shakti dasa, a disciple of HH Tamal Krsna Goswami, serves as a Pastoral Counselor in a hospice facility in Kansas. Because his experiences are so inspiring, we invite our readers to share his enthusiasm in caring for the terminally-ill.

The exchange brought a smile to my face. It reminded me of a soldier receiving new orders from his superiors. In fact, Srila Prabhupada sometimes compared the expansion of Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan movement with a military exercise.
